Band of Horses Intimately Perform ‘Everything All The Time’
Band of Horses brought their 20th anniversary of ‘Everything All The Time’ to the Fillmore Detroit on April 22, 2026 for a stellar performance and intimate evening.
Despite being classified as more of an Indie/Alternative/Folk band, there’s always a bit of my listening of Band Of Horses that feels a little country or Americana, despite the band hailing from Seattle, Washington.
‘Everything All The Time’ was released in 2006, and arguably put the band on the map with the song “The Funeral,” which still seems to be the track most people know from the band’s discography as a casual listener. Playing in chronological order, the band created an atmosphere that had a world-building feeling, where you get sucked in on the lyrics, and distinct song highlights.
After finishing up the album play, the band took a quick break before returning to celebrate some of the other tracks in their catalog, including “Is There A Ghost,” “Dilly,” “No One’s Gonna Love You,” Laredo,” and ending their set with “The General Specific.”
The songs have a quality of painting a picture with their lyrics, which creates a vibe that you don’t always get with shows. So many of the concerts we see these days are people filming with their phones, pounding beers, and getting rowdy. It’s nice to slow it down and take in the artistry, which made this Band of Horses show a perfect time to breathe again.
If you need that type of vibe in your life, catch Band of Horses on the road by checking their remaining tour dates at bandofhorses.com/tour.
