Were They on a Break? Head to ‘The FRIENDS Experience’ to Find Out!

Are you a huge ‘FRIENDS’ fan? Then you better high-tail it over to Auburn Hills to visit ‘The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One Near Detroit’ before September 24!

The showcase was originally created for the show’s 25th anniversary but now is available in select locations, including at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets at 4780 Baldwin Rd.

We took a media preview and we were able to experience interactive spaces that every ‘FRIENDS’ fan would recognize and love including Rachel and Monica’s purple door, Chandler and Joey’s dual recliner setup, the iconic sofa pivot, and even Central Perk (and of course, the couch).

There is also an on-site merch store, where guests both ticketed and non-ticketed can pick up branded items, including coffee, clothing, and more.

“We’re so grateful to the greater Detroit area for warmly welcoming The FRIENDS Experience and we can’t wait to connect with new and returning guests during these final weeks,” said Stacy Moscatelli, Chief Executive Officer of OGX. “We loved meeting FRIENDS ™ fans in Michigan and providing them with the opportunity to step inside the iconic series and create lasting memories.”

According to the press release, “Timed entry tickets to The FRIENDS Experience are available starting at $27 plus taxes and fees. Specially priced tickets will be available for children, students, military and seniors. Guided group tours are also available for groups of six to 10 guests. These tickets allow fans to visit the space in the morning before general ticketholders arrive as well as ensure maximum social distancing between groups for a more private experience.”
