PHOTOS: Suicide Silence at Upheaval Festival 2023
Suicide Silence raised the hardest of sets for Upheaval Festival 2023. Rocking on the Lookout Stage, fans were raging, and even engaged in a Wall Of Death.
The band was really great, even if you’d never listened to their tracks before (like us). They put on such a great show, we’re definitely going to be taking a deeper dive into their catalog.
It wouldn’t be the rock scene without some shade throw, and frontman Eddie Hermida was equipped with fresh meat in the form of witnessing what In This Moment had done when it came to performing at Upheaval. The criticism is warranted, if we’re being honest. Though we won’t quote it for fear of misquoting, the basic message was that they didn’t agree with how it was handled by ITM, and told the crowd something to the effect of “F**k them, you guys are awesome,” along with asking if we got our money’s worth.
They played their top tracks including “You Only Live Once,” “Unanswered,” “Disengage,” and “Love Me To Death,” all with headbanging and hair swinging.
