Hot Water Music Celebrates 30 Years at St. Andrew’s Hall

Hot Water Music and Quicksand stopped in on Cinco De Mayo at St. Andrew’s Hall as part of Hot Water Music’s 30th Anniversary tour and entertained the masses that piled into the venue.

QUICKSAND

Quicksand captured our attention in the best way as they hit the stage, playing their tracks “Inversion,” “Brown Gargantuan,” and “Unfulfilled.” Their high-energy performance made us want to dive deeper into their catalog, and post-show, we even got a shoutout from Quicksand via sharing our photos of the night.

HOT WATER MUSIC

PHOTOGRAPHED BY AMI NICOLE ACRONYM

Hot Water Music sounds just as good if not better live than they do on their albums. The ferocity of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard on vocals translates so well in a live setting, while holding up the overall beat by bassist Jason Black and George Rebelo.

The band just released a new album titled ‘Vows’ on Equal Vison, but they kept their set list well rounded, only including a few new tracks like “Menace,” “Burn Forever,” and “Remnants.”
