Antighost Drops Music Video For “Still Alive”
Antighost, the Detroit-based band with notes of Emo, Alt Rock, and Grunge influences has released a new music video for their track “Still Alive,” which is off their album ‘All My Friends Dig Graves.’
The video, which was filmed by Karsten Mawby and edited by frontman Sean Shepard, has a melancholy vibe with the trio dressed like they’re on the way to a funeral. Shepard’s vocals are so raw and depict an unkept agony as he releases lines like “Don’t say that it hurts, that just makes it worse. I’m not gonna, lie I am still alive.”
One of the most iconic shots of the video goes to drummer Dylan Vanderson, who walks into a blue-tinted bathroom and enters the shower fully clothed in a suit, with our second favorite when Shepard pours an entire glass of wine over his head while smoking a cigarette. We see bassist Andrew Trompeter drop his keys into a goblet of blue water, but many times he’s hidden underneath his extremely long hair (his signature look while playing).
Watch the music video now, and be sure to check out their upcoming tour dates, which you can find below, along with their social media accounts.
