Thumpasaurus Turns The Magic Bag Every Which Way They Could

Thumpasaurus played at The Magic Bag on October 10, and if you ever wanted to see a band that would keep you guessing, it was these guys.

The band began the night with Henry Solomon playing a solo set, followed by a 5-part rock opera that included a supercut of continuous barrages of John Travolta. The song kept repeating the same theme, “Where does it go? Where does the good love go?” And by the 4th video, people in the audio began to just laugh because we honestly all seemed to wonder how long it was going to go.

The band hit the stage and were so captivating that nobody wanted to leave the room. Between songs that invoked a cult-like ritualism, to fans dressed in fake mustaches and cowboy outfits to pay homage, fans danced the entire night to every song. At one point, two audience members were brought onto the stage for one of the songs intro’s and sang into the microphone.

It’s so hard to describe what you’re experiencing when you see a Thumpasaurus show, so our best suggestion is for you to look at the photos snapped by Ami Nicole ACRONYM below, and listen to their discography here.
