Santana, the legendary guitarist who has had an extensive career since around 1965, visited Pine Knob in Clarkston, Michigan on Thursday Evening and brought a full band of talents along with him.
The show began with a video that had a series of clips from different historical tribes, before the full band graced the stage to play. Songs like “Soul Sacrifice” and “Evil Ways” began the event, followed by another fan favorite “Black Magic Woman.”
Santana usually rounds out his setlist with radio-based hits like “Maria Maria” and plays “Smooth” during the encore. To see someone who’s been rocking for so many years still be as tight as ever on the guitar is a sight to behold – it’s almost second nature to Carlos Santana, it seems.
