Metallica Hosting a Worldwide Listening Party for ‘72 Seasons’
Metallica is setting up their fans to have an amazing experience in regards to their upcoming album, ’72 Seasons.’
For one night only, fans can experience the global premiere of Metallica’s 12th studio album on April 13, where ’72 Seasons’ will be played in full in theaters worldwide, with every song having its own music video and exclusive commentary from the band. ’72 Seasons’ is the newest of releases from Metallica since their 2016 release of ‘Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.’ The band has already released new tracks from the album “Lux Æterna” and “Screaming Suicide,” which have been hailed as “thundering, breakneck” (Billboard), “gut-punching” (Rolling Stone) and “blistering” (USA Today).
The album has been produced by Greg Fidelman with James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, and is over 77 minutes with 12 track, which we’re sure will shred everyone’s faces off. The ’72 Season’s global premiere is the 2nd time Metallica and Trafalgar, the first being in October 2019 for the worldwide cinematic release of Metallica and San Francisco Symphony: S&M², which documented Metallica and San Francisco Symphony reuniting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their original S&M (Symphony & Metallica) concerts and releases.
