Big Time Rush, Max, and Jax Garner Happy Screams At Pine Knob

A pop culture moment in the making, Big Time Rush graced the stage at Pine Knob Music Theatre with guests Max and Jax on July 19.

Starting off the show, Jax and her backing band spin the patriarchy on its head. With songs like “Cinderella Snapped” and covering “Teenage Dirtbag” from Wheatus (from Noelle’s point of view), she commanded the crowd and gained a ton of pre-teen girl fans who were standing at the barricade, discovering their new favorite artist.

Max turns up the heat with his dance moves, giving us a primer for the headliner Big Time Rush. He performed tracks like “Butterflies,” “Lights Down Low” and “IT’S YOU.” We suggest you keep an eye on this one, he’s going places!

And then, the main event. Big Time Rush had a full stage set up transporting you into a series of neon and feels. Kicking off their performance, they blazed through “Can’t Get Enough,” “Elevate,” and “Song For You,” followed by the fan favorite off their new album, “Weekends.”

They also broke into an acoustic set, sitting on the stage and engaging in some playful banter amongst the friend group.
