Guitar Center Announces “Capo Shortage” Due To Oasis Reunion

In a brilliant marketing post, Guitar Center shared to their Facebook feed over the weekend that they were experiencing a “Capo Shortage.” Why is that funny, you may ask? Because they decided to blame Oasis for it.

 

Yes, the UK band created such a surge of people wanting to run out and grab a capo from the local Guitar Center because they desperately needed to play “Wonderwall” on their acoustic guitars. No, of course, there’s no truth to this, but gosh is it a brilliant way of being able to post their link to their capo section, acting as if it’s a press release from the company.

 

 

 

Honestly, I think Noel and Liam would both find that pretty funny.
