Ferndale’s WAB Offers A Sober NYE Bash
With many people dropping alcohol from their daily lives, it’s nice to see some venues catching up with Sober events! One, in particular, is Ferndale Michigan’s very own, The WAB, which is offering an alternative party for New Year’s Eve!
If you’ve heard of the “Night Before Thanksgiving Sober Party” at The Loving Touch, it’s important to note that these are the same organizers! Clearly, it worked out, so they’re having another, but bouncing it over to The WAB.
They shared the following in their TicketWeb description:
“We’ll have a selection of Non-Alcoholic Beer, as well as festive Craft Mocktails available. We’ll have the pool table set to free all night. For those joining the party early, we’ll have snacks for you. And boy do we have something special for you – after nearly three years off the microphone, Polish John will be hosting karaoke all night! Capacity is limited – grab your tickets online, or at our box office at The Emory to avoid service fees. Let’s party!”
They noted that “There is a trace amount of alcohol in Non-Alcoholic beer. It’s a negligible amount (under 0.5% ABV), but worth noting,” just in case you have an alcohol allergy or anything that would prevent you from consuming trace amounts.
Sober New Year’s Eve at WAB will be on December 31, 2022, and doors are at 8 PM. The party is still 21+, and tickets can be purchased at $15 in advance and $25 the day of.
