Jane Fonda Urges America To Wake Up In SAG Speech

Jane Fonda used her Lifetime Achievement Award speech at the 31st SAG Awards to speak up about what’s going on in the world and called on the world to pay attention and step up.
This is an important watch, and we can’t say anymore that Jane Fonda didn’t cover more poetically. Some of the high points included bringing up Stonewall and the Civil Rights movement and asking “Would you be brave enough to walk the bridge?”
Jane Fonda has been arrested for activism over the years (including at age 81 for a climate change protest), so she’s put her money where her mouth is. We hope that after seeing her speech, she will inspire people to step up and do more.
